Dr. Wade Newman is a distinguished dental professional whose career spans over two decades of exemplary service, innovation, and dedication to both his patients and the broader community. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where he was honored with numerous awards for his academic and clinical excellence.
Before embarking on his dental career, Dr. Newman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Penn State University and served as a police officer, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to community service and leadership.
Dr. Newman’s passion for dentistry was profoundly influenced by a transformative mission to Guatemala during his third year of dental school. Witnessing the critical need for dental care in underserved areas ignited his dedication to humanitarian efforts, leading him to volunteer countless hours locally and internationally through initiatives like Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile.
In addition to his civilian practice, Dr. Newman has served in the Air National Guard for over 20 years, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His military service includes notable missions, such as providing urgent dental care in Bani Bangou, Africa, and training his team to deliver essential treatments under challenging conditions.
Dr. Newman is also an active leader in organized dentistry, having held prestigious positions including President of the Pennsylvania Dental Association and delegate for the American Dental Association. His practice, Eagle Valley Family Dentistry in Milesburg, Pennsylvania, reflects his commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Newman enjoys hunting, supporting Penn State athletics, and exploring new adventures with his family. His journey exemplifies a deep-seated dedication to improving lives through dentistry, community service, and personal integrity.
